I just read chapter two. Again so cute! Not for buying another a gift, this chapter reminded me of something that happened a couple days ago. I went across town to take care of a few tasks which at the end of what had to be done was shopping for art supplies. I went to a bead shop that when I approached it, I learned it was closed due to a power outage. Got lunch figuring by the time I was finished with that the place would hopefully have power again and be open. No such luck, but as I was getting into my car I commented to a woman near by I didn't know was the shop owner. I said I was sorry to say the shop lost a customer today. She said who she was and let me in when no one else was allowed. Shining my cell phone over the shop's merchandise after a while I picked out a few multi-colored agate beads which she said totaled $12.99. For lack of power in the store I told her I was going to pay her with left over laundry quarters. After she saw me count them out which I admitted made me fall short on payment by roughly 50 cents. She let me just have the beads. Saying I supplied her with a good stock of quarters.
