All I Have is the episodes of the original cartoon, the spin off cartoon gadget boy, all of the movies. including the ones that didn't do that great. Then I have the Christmas special.
Well that and the book I mentioned from before.

Well, today is a sunny day around here so I took a chance to take photos of my IG collection. The Vintage PVC Figure Set that I got on Ebay many years ago, a SUITEBLANCO case that was offered by a dear friend on my birthday in 2015 (if I'm not wrong), an handmade bead keychain I arttraded to a friend artist on a convention (even though that she made it thinking about me on purpose ) and an handmade keychain and bookmark offered me by my sister in 2015 Christmas. Oh, and a photo I took with an old digital camera around probably 2004-2005. Two images articles that I got from a Portuguese magazine The French DVD boxes of the 80's series and the Gadgetinis series that my psychologist was able to get me when she went to France many years ago, a DVD of the Portuguese version of the Christmas Special, a DVD of the Portuguese version of the Biggest Capper Ever, a DVD of the Spanish version of Inspector Gadget Last Case I got from Spain during a summer vacations many years ago and 4 DVDs of the Portuguese version of the Gadgetinis series. And the first item I got from my collection, a Vintage PVC Figure of Gadget who has been a companion that lost his left hand (it's actually guarded), got eaten by my beagle and lost some of its paint by falling down my bed (yes, I sleep with him ) and being touched by my dirty hands many times over the years. It's not an huge collection. Unfortunately Portugal didn't have a lot of merchandise during the 90's, although my next door neighbors had a sticker of a scene from episode "Gadget's Replacement" on their fridge but I don't know if they still have it (and I feel so ashamed for never taken a photo of that sticker ), and some products on ebay are just a little too expensive for my wallet, especially the shippings. But hey, when you're an artist who have to make merchandise of your own "crappy" work to sell it on conventions and online you always create cool stuff for yourself! Like this keychain I made as a test with magic paper of a Gadget expression I drew for example! And no, I don't have more copies of it since I wasted that paper for other stuff and I probably won't be able to do more personalize keychains for quite a while, and this one is definitely NOT for sale. It's mine. You hear me? MIIIIIIIIIIIIINE!!!

(I'm a sucker for handcrafted items) btw, I'm loving your keychain too.
I didn't see merchandise in the 90's ether at my neck of the woods. even though they did exist, but not as poplar.

One of my quest shopping goals was seeing if I could get ahold of Gadgetinis in however the series was collected to disc. As for the keychains, I wish I could commission you but you've stated not for a while. I'd love to see your style used to my AUs. That would be a one of a kind keychain. ... Uh, in case you are interested in sometime later on getting commissioned for them. How much would you charge? ( You know how my finances are. )

Uh, in case you are interested in sometime later on getting commissioned for them. How much would you charge? ( You know how my finances are. ) Hm… depends, the only keychains I'm doing are simple, the round ones that I make with my Pin machine, with a size of 45mm and I'm selling them with the price of 2€ (ship included if sent). Here's an example how they look like (the right one is the keychain, the left one it the pin but the size is different). But personalized keychains like the one I've shown I don't do them. This one was only made when I tested the magic paper, just to see how it works, but the results are never 100% perfect, the cut image sometimes doesn't come out with a perfect shape and get distorted sometimes, and since I only got 4 papers when I bought it I used the rest to do other tests and Christmas presents for some friends. I even thought on going to the same store where I bought it to get some more, but since the shape of the image most of the time doesn't come out perfect, and not to mention their expensive I gave up on buying them unless it's really to do gifts. But some artists colleagues that I know from the conventions told me there's a website that does personalized keychains which they send commissions for their artwork so I gave it a check, but I'm still thinking about it.

Thank you! Yeah, the person my sister asked to do the handcrafted bookmarker and keychain did a really good job, I was so happy with these Christmas presents (and neither am I when it comes to that too ). Oh thank you! ^^ This actually came out well when I took it off the oven, the first attempt didn't came out perfect. I think that's the problem. Since the series wasn't that good for many people it was probably normal, but it's funny 'cause even when I was going to the supermarket I didn't notice any merchandise on that time, but I was a very weird with my tastes and I was more obsessed with VHS on that time.

yes indeed, from looking into ebay France, it seems like it was more poplar there than other places. I saw a bunch of merchandise I didn't know it existed. including IG bedding, sheets, wall poster, tea towels (I wish I saved the pic), handkerchiefs, very small figurines, and (what it looks like) wall plaques. plus a lot of activity and annual books.

Oh, have to give it a check on Ebay France to see that. But it's funny you mention that because on ebay.com, when I see those products they're mostly stolen originals and fanarts artwork used for wallets, pins, keychains, etc., but I'm sure that's not what you're mentioning.

It's really cool to see a lot of IG merchandise on there and they seem all original from the early to late 80's. yeah, I do see stolen art that are made in random items. I guess that's something you see everywhere. *sigh*
Just to tell you the truth, another IG fan and I have been tagging eachother images on Tumblr just to see what we can find IG related on ebay. lol! the collection was pretty big!

Thanks for the share! Oh, that's quite a shame. But boy, for what I'm seeing some products are quite… expensive for my wallet. ^^; Indeed, kind of sad actually. But for what you shared so far these are indeed the original series merchandise.

sometimes it makes me wonder if I'm the only one in the U.S. that has the original IG french movie posters. lol!

Here is another item I just recently added to my collection! it's a handcrafted 'paper' necklace that I bought from Esty. here is the link to their store and they are from France. --> AtelierHautPerche29
Anyways, it's not very often I see IG jewelry on my online searches, so I just had to get it! even though the chain a bit too long on me, but I'm thinking about making it shorter.
It's very pretty! the little charm comes in different colors, so choose blue. however, I do wonder what's the story behind the little bell charm. reminds me of my cats. lol! at least it doesn't make much noise when I move.
