*Point 1:
I don't know if this topic is contained somewhere else or no, but has anyone else ever heard of or know about the IG handheld games from like the early 90s? I have them, in-box still, with synopses and stuff. And it may be interesting to know that that Dr. Claw is shown in one of those two games, and he looks very little like the "official" face they gave him in the SNES/phone games or on the toy. Only seen from the back, but he looks like an evil Inspector Gadget, sorta.
*Point 2:
There were also some fairly hard-to-find children's story collections from the mid-80s that had some really oddball and patently WEIRD stories on IG, but also some new info that is kinda interesting, anyway. Like the fact that Quimby has a wife named Mabel. That sort of thing.
*Point3:
I also own the two mid-80s coloring books from IG, which are also fairly hard to get hold of, especially in uncolored/unused condition, which I managed to do. The one has a complete story in it while the other is a choppy loosely connected series of activities and puzzles, but its cover is kinda interesting for the fact it shows the shadow of Dr. Claw, and the guy seems to be wearing a mask/headpiece shaped like the MAD symbol -- which I know a fair number of fans thought he would wear, was he ever shown (I know I did...). That Claw also has the sharp fingerpoints like the Claw in the "Orient Express" comic, which is a bit of a neat connection.
Anyone is interested, I can share this stuff. I do have a scanner, and I don't mind sharing the "wealth" with other fans. Not often anyone but myself CARES about the random and odd stuff I collect!
