Is Kim Possible old enough to be retro? Transformers! More than meets the eye! Autobots wage their battles to destroy the evil forces of the Decepticons! Transformers! Robots in desguise! Transformers! I think Kim Possible is just now hitting this categorization due to it coming out in the early '00s.

Lots and lots and lots! To keep to my core favourites from the 20th Century I would say: - Felix the Cat (the 90s revival Twisted Tales of Felix the Cat is also great) - 20s-50s Disney Shorts (Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Silly Symphonies etc) - Looney Tunes/Merry Melodies - Tom & Jerry (+ Droopy/Tex Avery and other MGM cartoons) - Pink Panther (pretty much any cartoons which were made to play in theatres from the 20s to the 60s are OK by me) - The Flintstones (and most Hanna-Barbera cartoons 1958-63ish; they lose me a bit after that) - Peanuts/Charlie Brown/Snoopy - Garfield - Doraemon - Transformers (G1; also GI Joe to a lesser extent) - Count Duckula (and Danger Mouse to a slightly lesser extent) - Angry Beavers
- The Powerpuff Girls Oh, and Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats and Inspector Gadget, natch

Nice seeing a bunch of old titles mentioned and I have to say one of caught me by surprise. I'm not used to seeing things like Disney's classic shorts brought up, not the stuff generally promoted by the company anymore with the exception of their favorite nod to Steamboat Willie. I have seen the stuff from the dawn of Disney and I believe my family owned a copy of Silly Symphonies growing up. But what I remember most is what was made into collections that bundled together works from the 30's into the 60's.
At some point I have to watch the original Danger Mouse just because I like Count Duckula and am aware of the show's origin idea.

Yeah, Disney did not necessarily do as good a job of keeping their cartoons in the public eye as Warner Bros or MGM. I personally got to know them mostly through airings on The Disney Channel in the late 90s, after it became part of the standard satellite/cable package in the UK. Plus my mum is/was a huge vintage Disney buff, so I grew up around a number of Retrospective books which covered their history etc.
Danger Mouse could perhaps be described as a little primitive compared to Duckula, the animation is a lot more limited and in some ways it's a bit more like a 60s American TV cartoon like Bullwinkle or Batfink, but it's very funny and creative.

I remember it, I watched the first Season or so. It wasn't one of my personal favourites, but it was good.
It's being added to Disney+ next month, apparently, or at least in the US; international Disney+ doesn't always seem to follow the US version sadly, the UK Disney+ unlike the US one still doesn't have Bonkers which I would love to watch again (the half or so of the series I liked at least).

Yup, I remember Pepper Ann too, I remember watching it on ABC family back in 2000. I am excited that it's finally going g to be on Disney+. I think it's very cool that they have both the voices of Gadget and Penny on that show which were just side characters. riffraff that is sad that they don't add the same shows we have, they really should. I hope they will add them soon.

Here is my list on my favorite retro cartoons. (and also 90's cartoons ) Inspector Gadget. Garfield and Friends (I'm also a huge Garfield fan and collector) Doug (I also liked the Disney version since it wasn't that bad, but still prefer the Nickelodeon version since it was edgy.) Rugrats Rocko's Modern Life Angry Beavers Hey Arnold The Critic Daria King of the Hill Looney Toons Disney shorts from the 40s (remember Quack Attack on the Disney Channel? that was my show! lol!) Pepper Ann Wait until your father gets home The Flintstones The Jetsons Muppet Babies Top Cat (that also was my father's favorite) Dexter's Labtory Ed, Edd N Eddy. (it's hard to believe that it came out 22 years ago.)
