I thought you knew I'd arrived, Gizmo? I posted on FaceBook this morning about it. Now here I'll say. The trip got drastically shortened since the money didn't come in in time. But that fact turned out to be oddly a good thing. The company responsible or the gift visa cards used for gassing up the RV. Well ... *sigh* even paying inside the gas stations, the company placed the used cards on hold. When this was realized I was very grateful not many fill ups were needed before the trip would be over. What I did getting to the RV park was the most direct route I've ever done with Ohio being at least one end point of the trip ( here the start clearly ) How that could happen is no need at all for some place to stay & pet friendly. No driving out of the way to reach some motel, hotel, or campsite. In the case of the trip back to Texas years ago on vacation and picking up a car I no longer own. That time I went out of my way in extra mileage to visit a friend expecting me to pop by. Only had one case of bad luck for somewhere to park for the night. A Love's Travel Center did give me permission to overnight park. But by the time I was ready to locate a spot among the Mac trucks, all spots I could have used were taken by the truckers. How was it I got there too late? Around 5pm the inter tire of the rear dually passager side, hit something and got shot to looking like a big knife had slashed it. It was after 11pm that roadside assistance finally came to my aid. It was at nearly 1am when the event was over and I tried to find my parking spot. Driving around 1am on the highway ready to fall alseep! It's amazing I didn't get in trouble. I think I found the Marathon gas station which agreed to let me stay over night after maybe 10 - 15 miles of traveling away from the Love's one. If you're wondering how that massive slash might have happened, I have a theory. After getting the second fill up, I quickly noticed my passager mirror couldn't see the road any more, so I pulled over on the highway to adjust it. Not long after that is when the tire went out. I think I hit something when I did the pull over. The next day more drama unfolded. The discovery my overcab is breaking apart and get this. When after having just pulled into a TA Travel Center, starting to drive through their truck area for where I could spend the night. A Noise. Something breaking off. Engine stop and walk outside to find out what happened. A truck driver discovered walking towards me holding one of the dolly's fenders! Ripped off and damaged tire to boot! Progressive gave a confused bawl over the phone hearing about it and at first and a few other times claiming, I wasn't covered for such a thing. It took a while for them to realize I was. But they wouldn't help and somehow they ordered a tow company to look at my car if it needed a tire change! I had to hire a mobile mechanic to put a used tire bought weeks ago on the dolly. The car still got looked at but nothing was done because nothing was needed for it. I could barely sleep that night and that has to be one of the worst attempted sleeps in my whole life. A horror film army of mosquitoes had invaded the RV and they were attacking me every other second. Twice during this event ... picture a scene in which I shouldn't walk outside, mini-flashlight in one hand, other hand slapping the walls and everywhere else, trying to kill as many as I could. It felt like it should have been a cruel video game of torture the lady and see how many of the blood suckers she can kill, how fast. What sleep I might have gotten was likely a few minutes out of the whole night. Once starting out again on the road, to cool down the RV and to be mean to the remaining mosquitoes I cracked open the window driving. Zip zip zip .... highway little bugs! I only made one mistake driving and that was the wrong exit inside Houston, but Google Maps was fast to give me the correct & changed route. I didn't make it to Sunset RV Park until after 8pm. Fun fact, at about 30 miles away from there happened a downpour. Try driving in that at night and your ride is over 30 feet in length? *shutter* Butterfly thanks for being a temp Mod. while I was gone. Also if it's wondered why I logged once in a while during the trip. It was me just seeing who the new members were. Welcome to the forum Fobbich and lokomotives!

Last night I've spoken to Systemcat on the phone and she wants to let everyone know the reason why she hasn't been on here in awhile is because she has internet connection troubles at the place where she is staying.
So, she wants to let everyone one know that she hasn't neglect the forum, it's just her internet goes in and out most of the time when she is on it.

My internet connection is still pretty fried. It took around 20 minutes to log in and simply change wallpapers. I am very sorry for not being around as I should be. If people are wondering how the heck am I uploading to DA through this, it's hot spotting my cell on a weak connection. In fact it was that connection that finally allowed me in tonight but even in the control panel .. even that took sometime to work with. Nothing has really changed from the last time I spoke up except as a late Christmas gift I think I'm getting, a replacement tablet to the Surface. Also ... please someone have a kind thought to share on this. It really dawned on me yesterday Jan. 16th marks five years on the current project. I think I should do something for that but don't have any firm ideas. From June '94 to around the summer of '00 roughly, I did my homemade comics very steadily. That to this day still influences my art style to some point, and the basic to my panel creation / page layout ideas. From March '05 to the fall of '09 the work on the 26th Century series. That furthered my ability to story tell. Jan. 16th '15 - ... This has felt like a lot more work than what I did in the 90's. Plus it's not going to end any time soon.

Butterfly recently shared how things are going with her life. So now I'm going to share a little of what is happening on my end. A few weeks ago for unknown reason bile rose in my throat and into the back of my mouth through the whole of an evening. No simple Googling could explain it. Then twice as the result of prescribed meds., I got sharp pains in my liver. Now which this started about two weeks ago, I've been getting a pain in my chest which feels like bricks weighing down on me. It was so mild at first I almost wrote it off in thinking I was imagining it. But no, it is now happening almost all the time and the pain keeps getting worse. Combined with stomach acid mildly coating my throat and back of mouth all the time as well. Not only am I getting it's unappealing taste but it's also starting to give me a hoarse feeling when I talk for a while. Today I finally took the Walgreen's generic to Maalox, thinking heartburn could be part of the problem but it didn't help. What's strange about this growing condition is it almost completely reminds me of a near duplicate condition I had in the spring & early summer of '12. It was only after multiple tests a doctor figured out my gallbladder was misbehaving and needed to be removed. ... I shouldn't be having this sort of problem again very literally. My car has been unsafe to drive in over a month. As the result of that I've been trapped almost all the time in my RV. The gastroenterologist doctor, the one I trust that figured out the gallbladder problem in '12. He's going to have an appointment with me over the phone on the 8th. The crying shame is I know this is the sort of thing I should have a real exam for. I am almost positive he's going to order a test or two for me at Park Plaza hospital which is in Houston ( about 40 miles away ). I've also been getting frequent headaches which I don't know if it's connected to the before mentioned problem or not. In the mean time I'm doing what I always do that no one here reads.

By reading this I don't know if it is a good idea for you to make a test to make sure that's not what I think it is, even if you pointed out that your gallbladder is misbehaving!

Polar, I think I know where your mind went with my description. No no, it's not the virus. This is something else which could be serious. I should have worded at least one thing a little differently. My gallbladder was removed because it wasn't working right. What's why the pain, stomach acid and bile don't make sense unless a different organ is acting up in a bad way. The non-educated guess is my liver because of those earlier pains.

For your headaches, do you have allergies? sometimes that can be a symptom... and also stress can cause headaches too.

I'm almost convinced the headaches are from an AC filter that needs cleaning or replacing. But sometimes these headaches start away from home which throws out that first idea I have. Stress doesn't give me headaches but sometimes my anxiety pilled too high causes visual vertigo or shaky hands.

Hey everyone, I was just talking to Systemcat last night and she wants everyone to know that the reason she hasn't been around that much because her laptop died and her tablet broke. She did order a replacement laptop and hopefully it will arrive very soon for her.
