Ok, in one episode alone ( Bermuda triangle ) I counted three pop culture references. Through out the classic series how many do you think got used?

In "Gadget's Replacement", there was a police car numbered "86", after Maxwell Smart's agent number in Get Smart.

One of those episodes I think is "Down on the Farm".

I think in "Movie Set", Lana is based off of Mae West, who was an actress, and I recently saw a video of Don Adams on a talk show (presumably mid 70's?) about him working with her.

This is another actress I wonder the same notion about. Knowing of this page in reading it's content was because of crack name research in regards to my writing. Check out the third lady listed. It's just how her last name sounds a little and she was hot stuff in Hollywood years ago. www.iveyengineering.com/famous-female-engineers/

I also noticed that there was a character from LupinIII in one episode, I'm not sure which one it was, I just saw a screenshot of it. I'm starting to think that maybe the second season of Inspector Gadget was animated in the same studio as Lupin III. The styles look very similar to me.

I've never actually seen the show, but I think I'll have to start watching it now.

Thanks to random displays from a Featured Folder on DA, I got alerted to this art which I had to fave. gogogadgetclub.deviantart.com/art/Great-Minds-479781258
