Here is an important topic to be talked about. Art theft.
It happens on many sites even deviant-art.

Yes, DeviantArt, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, etc. I have a colleague friend who's a great artist of the anime/manga style. People like her artwork so much that they can't help it to use it in other websites, even it's for sharing. She got so pissed off with a person who her artwork from Tumblr of her Steven Universe fan arts. Here's a link of her DA page in case you want to see her art : hazurasinner.deviantart.com/And it's not only this case of people using the original artistes's artwork on their respectives accounts. There're also people who steal the original artistes's artwork for the use of gaining money! Ry-Spirit, another great artist on DA, had a case of finding out an website where people uses other artistes works for cellphones covers, and some of his artworks were there. He warned that he wasn't even subscribed on the website. And there was one day that I was on my facebook account watching other peoples/groups/galleries notifications until I encountered a notification of Teepublic of a new artwork design of a t-shirt which was this one: tsaoshin.deviantart.com/art/A-Few-of-My-Favorite-Things-557701494When I saw the image I quickly click the link of the t-shirt so I could follow the artist, but instead I found that the other t-shirts's artwork designs didn't match with that one, and the artist itself didn't have anything on his profile image, so I thought somethings fishy's going on here (yeah, I actually thought that, just like Gadget XD). At first I thought of warning Teepublic about the situation but because I wasn't exactly sure I sent a message to the original artist instead just to confirm if I was right. And the truth is I was right: he didn't upload the image there, he had informed the Teepublic Administer and thanked me for pointing him out the situation. He then decided to subscribe to the website and post his artworks on t-shirts for sell. This is the reason why we have to keep our eyes open, nothing only seeing if we are being stolen but other people has well!

The best we can do is warn others about it, and report it.
Hopefully the people that do this misdeed get caught.

The best we can do is warn others about it, and report it. Agreed!Hopefully the people that do this misdeed get caught. Yes, majority of the works are recognized so it's normal that the thieves are caught.

I am almost never witness to art theft, but I have seen plenty of morons on DA who make screen caps and call it their art. In my book this is akin to art theft since they really didn't make it.

Those bastards They deserve to die! Thank goodness there are people who sometimes warn us about the situation. There was a time a person gave me an watch but then I was informed that he/she was an art thief and to block him/her. That's exactly what I did!
