So, I've been thinking about this for a few days, and I would like to share something a bit personal with this. I've been watching this show for a little over a year so far (I'm only 17, I didn't grow up with the original one so please bear with me), and it's easily become one of my favorite cartoons, if not, tv shows.
I've always felt different throughout my whole life. I look different, and I've been treated differently then others at times. I've been made fun of countless times for my appearance, for my interests and hobbies, just about anything. Whenever I watch the show, Gadget's "differences" are seen as an asset, something to help him, and he's considered a hero. My differences have always been seen as an obstacle. Inspector Gadget makes me feel hopeful, since he lives in a world where people's differences help them, I know, he's not perfect, he has his glitches once in a while, but I hope that one day in this society, people's different can truly been seen past, and be considered as something helpful and beautiful. Inspector Gadget may be a figment in my and your imagination, but he's been a big part in my life. Thank you.

as for me I grew up with the re runs. I like that he is a light-hearted character as well. What I like is that he never gives up, even if he isn't fully on task. I have fond memories of watching the re runs at my grandma's house after school when waiting for my parents to get home from work. He is also a hero to me, next to spider-man and many other fictional characters.

As someone and please forgive me because I can't remember who said this. Once put it, he was the first "superhero" of sorts I ever regularly watched episodes of when I was little. I think it could be said I caught it for the first airing of it's re runs at a guess in the late 80's. It's special to me being one of those few childhood remembered shows I still enjoy to this day and I really can't say that about most cartoons I remember watching back when I was a kid.

He was one of many funny characters I was familiar with, well next to scooby doo. He is very unique for sure.
