This is an extension on an currently being used idea with my IG AU. References thrown in to other DiC shows appearing just for trivia fun reasons. Why I'm titling this thread "Splinter's Shelves" is a crack at what I'm about to ask. The idea in origin dates with my boyfriend and I watching the CGI TMNT movie, and him pointing out things his keen eyes caught that I failed to. That at the end when Splinter and the turtles are at shelves of seeming random items, it shows nick-nacks from all over the TMNT's fandom. I only sadly caught one of them without the rest being pointed out.
Now at one point and I've been thinking about this scene for sometime. One character is being introduced to who the organization named RAGE is. Considering the wild nature of RAGE, I figure it would be fun to show a room at one point with a good sized collection of random little things they've gotten their mitts on over time. This is where I'd pay homage to what shows DiC is connected with ( this happens through out the series but here it's a whooper ). Looking at a list of shows they're connected with from the Wiki ...it's much more extensive than I thought. Easily I've only thought of three shows not brought up before to tuck into this scene. ( And I'm not going to admit here which three. I'd rather leave it to your keen eyes to spot the nick-nacks of them. ) Aside from the three I am not going to name. Please if you have any thoughts to this Splinter's Shelves scene for DiC-connected owned cartoons you think would befit RAGE's interest, say which titles I should try and wedge in some how?
