I'm not sure if this was ever mentioned in the forum, but I'm just wondering if anybody has any collections they would love to share.
As for starters, I have a small collection of rare Inspector Gadget and Garfield merchandise that I started not to long ago, however I have a huge collection of Vera Bradley handbags, clothing and other accessories! I have about over 200 items (and counting) and the majority of them are vintage from the 1980's and the 1990's. (the company was founded in 1982, the same year when the IG Pilot was released. ) I've been collecting since 2011 and I've made into a hobby of switching my handbags each month with different patterns. it gets really fun to match with the colors of each season and holidays.
so, what what do you guys love to collect?

I used to have a decently impressive comic collection prior to what happened in '09. Currently I'm still rebuilding that but am no where close to the same amount I once had.
I also have an extensive foreign coin collection. That I was able to hold on to after what happened in '09. That collection started at some point in the early 90's and it's become so large I have no idea how many exotic coins are in it.
Rocks & crystals, with the odd fossil added here and there.
Lastly and this will sound a little odd so I'll explain it's origin first. When I was homeless in '09. I got a hold of a gray BeanieBaby cat. Later when I was an Assistant Junior Girl Scout leader, I was handed a Siamese BeanieBaby cat. This has lead into be collecting every different kitty that company has ever made. Always the beanies, I don't collect their plushies.

I had a 'somewhat' of a big collection of beanie babies that were gifted to me when I was a pre-teen by family members, I had a couple of cats from their collection. but I wasn't too crazy about them like most of my friends were at that time. but when I was first diagnosed with scoliosis in 2000, I decided to donated them to Shriners Hospital of Philadelphia since they gave them away there. at least I know they were going to good homes.

Why have I only just noticed this is a thread? Yikes!
I'm one of those people who has a mix of things that I collect. I started out as a very young kid collecting seal soft toys and by age 13 I had amassed over 40 of them. They are mostly now in storage haha.
As an offshoot I started collecting walrus soft toys as well.
Me and the Mister are huge dinosaur fans, so anything realted from soft toys, to fossils and the like are collected. (In fact, our wedding ring set is titanium and dino bone.)
I LOVE crystals, oils, incense and the like. Also rocks from wlaks, feathers and shells.
House plants.
Transformers. (Still have originals from the 80's.)
