Years ago I applied to be a consignment artist for a local chain of used video game stores named Game Over. I got rejected then but last week I sent a new email proposing myself to the store however at a different location. The CEO emailed me today saying he'd accept me for this and send a PDF agreement for me to sign! I can't start getting prints made just now. I have to find a shop for that I can afford. Hopefully I'll have my work in their Webster location in the next few weeks! This is them: gameovervideogames.com/This is a little of what I presented to the CEO, which got approved:

Thank you! I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off the whole day. It's just now I've found the time to get into the forum. Last night I didn't even get to do any project work.

... ... While I appreciate the single word ... with no form of emphasis attached to it. I have to say a comment not having to do with topic. This concern is not directed at normally active members. But posting just to post. .. When the post doesn't contribute. Just please refrain from wanting to add to post count please. Speak when you have something to say. This had been bothering me for a long time.

congratulations Systemcat! I'm happy that you made it farther with your art. For making prints, how many are you planning to make and how big do they need to be? I've tried Walmart and they were pretty reasonable for the biggest poster size image I needed for a car show last year.

To anyone wondering, the person I was replying to who left a single word without a form of emphasis attached to it. The person I think and am in fact sure, they deleted their post. I don't talk to thin air. --------------- Thank you! @butterfly, I don't know how large I need to make these prints. All I know at this point is before anything is in production I need to talk with the CEO to work out what he wants presented in the store. Usually I go to Kinko's for printing but now that you mentioned Walmart, I'll ask them what they want to charge. I know a different consignment artist has a whole ringed binder of vinyl decals for sale. So when the CEO and I are talking, I want to use that artist as inspiration to working out details.

I guess I missed the post that was deleted. 🤔 Anyway, you're welcome. ^^ I'm sure there are other places too, I know Rite Aid, CVS and Walgreens do different types of prints too.

Late yesterday afternoon I finally got a reply from the CEO over my agreement to do this. He congratulated me and provided a vender ID to be used! I'm going to start with making 10 prints because I don't know how much traffic the store gets. Could you guys give some fan art suggestions for this? Please remember the store caters to old school gaming meaning the early days of Atari to strangely enough 3DS.

Thanks GM. A few days ago I gave the store a few prints. No word on if any of them have sold yet. I failed to notice this the first time I was in the lower level of the store, but one whole wall is a gallery of fan art and my work only now occupies a fraction of that. Any sold art is quarterly given checks to the respective artists who did the work. So I think I won't know anything at earliest until later this year, like the dawn of winter. ... I did a Sonic / Pokemon piece only Butterfly noticed, meant for the store. That and a Mario piece you'd think carried Covid for the fear of anyone looking at it ( hit count ). ... I don't think my work is going to sell. That Sonic / Pokemon piece took a whole day to make and that Mario one a whole evening. It must be the worst fan art ever created.
