Here is a random advertising comic of Gadget and Heathcliff meet the Wolfman ( Wolfman Jack) for Wolf Rock TV in 1984. Sadly this series only had 7 episodes which are extremely rare to find, so I guess this series never really took off and it became lost and forgotten. the only video I can find with the intro. (low quality audio only)

Oh, this made me laugh and I doubt anyone here knows why.
Ah hum, ok to anyone who has cared to read my work. You know I have a thing for trivia being used at every opportunity. Because my Inspector Gadget AU uses other DiC cartoons in it to flesh it out. When I knew I had to invent a name for the park used in "Gadget Boy: Accepting and Escaping Tomorrow". I wanted to use the name of a DiC cartoon. "Wolf Rock" to me sounded like a good name for a park. Plus to double the trivia crack on it's usage, that park is destroyed in the story. That in real life this cartoon hasn't survived into the digital age.
Further more the man who narrated "Gadget Boy: The B-Side Tracks" for it's audiobook, just started working on Accepting and Escaping Tomorrow.

That's very cool that you used this obscure cartoon series as a reference on your work. That is actually an excellent setting for something that was scrapped after 7 episodes. After learning about this series a few years ago, I always wondered how good were the episodes. It's a shame that it's nowhere to be found online. 😔
