Devil's Blood got awarded a Daily Deviant today. Despite the fact this story is over looked and to my knowledge has only been read in full by Malintra-Shadowmoon. This is how I feel about getting the award for my work: IG has had only three Daily Deviants before now noted in the Inspector Gadget Group. That last one to be awarded this before Devil's Blood, happened back in 2013.

Thanks! You and Butterfly are the only people I know who have congratulated me about the event. On the DeviantArt posting for recent comments, only Malintra-Shadowmoon & lindartz said anything on the piece. It got a bunch of faves yesterday and a few watches to my account. I understand no reviews just yet. It's not a one sit down read. But still I hope reviews come. Really when I submitted it to Malintra-Shadowmoon for reviewing critique, I wasn't expected a nice reply. I'm used to one of to things normally happening with my work. It's either trashed or ignored. DC I know has been reading Iron and Steel lately & has been providing occasional feedback. I wish that sort of thing happened more often. There is some wild timing to the DD happening. For one, Mr. Wilhelm yesterday morning started sharing with me over Google Drive, his files for the audiobook adaptation. The second, something I wanted to write into Devil's Blood that was left out is soon going to come up in Loaded Stone. A character note on Alan. While the idea had hit me to use in the novel, it just couldn't be worked into it. Oddly enough the character note makes a better introduction in Loaded Stone. This will surface on page 88.
