I just thought I'd state something here. I am devoted to my craft and try to ensure I give it the best results possible. But I can't believe what nearly happened to me earlier today thanks to it. Some times I need to work from stock photos to understand how to draw something right. These images aren't always pulled from the net, but ones I make first hand. In making stock reference shots in regards to scenes of Terry in the woods later in the story. I put myself at risk of getting bitten by Copperhead snakes. This was unknown at the time it happened. The shots were taken inside the Mercer Botanic Gardens, all with me laying on my back against the ground to get perspective right. In the afterwards to this I got chewed out by a member of the staff claiming I should never do that again since apparently Copperheads are impossible to spot. So when the page comes up where you know just by looking at it, I had to have been using references of nature for the exact look. Appreciate it and know I'm not doing that again. At least not where I'm at high risk of getting a deadly snake bite.

Oh, yikes! Copperheads are nasty.
I know someone who used to live in Mississippi, and they mentioned they'd be afraid to let kids outside in their lawn because of those suckers.
I'm glad you're alright.

Thanks , but I think the staff might have over reacted ... then again I don't normally go to this place and regularly see it's wild life.

You are very lucky you didn't get bit. Glad to hear you're all right, though.
