Do you ever think Gadget has worries about Penny? Not when she's with him; of course she's safe then. However, I could see him checking up on her at night or calling her school to see if she's safe.
After all, when one has as many enemies as Gadget does, you can never be too careful.

I am sure he does sometimes. Not to mention there are times when Penny and himself were in situations and he made sure that Penny was safe. So I think that counts.

Yes he does! It's called parental instinct! Parents/guardian's always have to know what's going on and where their kids are at. Or they go bat shit crazy! And I can honestly see Gadget getting that worked up over Penny! In the'2015' series, they even had an episode, that more or less showed this. There was even a part where Penny was complaining that he was driving her nuts, because he was being too overprotective!

While it was cute, I wish he had been protective on more serious issues. (Pizza? Sunblock? Really?)

I bet the single mom's would adore him though! Haha!! I love the idea of him getting attention as the lone guy at a little girl birthday party. He'd be completely oblivious, though.

His relationship with his niece is already one of the main drawing points of the series, at least in my humble opinion. I realize this is not the opinions of either the "Gadget should be Robocop" or "Inspector Gadget without Gadget" crowds, who for some reason believe one would be better without the other.

I don't remember what it was called. I only saw it once, but if I find out I'll let you know!
