After I finish working on page 162 I'm going to do a piece of art for the season, but because of how late it got started ... A story which is set shortly before Christmas as a short in prose format that won't be coming out till after Christmas. References are made but the story isn't focused on the holiday. This story is a follow up and before of another. Also oddly enough it has an element in it which of all things was something I strongly considered showing a poster of in Penny's room back when I made the animatic that covered a single scene from the first story.
I don't even have a name for this one yet. The story is covering a few bases at once. If people want I'll announce it's name the moment I've thought it up.

Thanks! Honestly today it almost feels like I'm being slightly lazy about work right now but that's not the case. This story which I have yet to name likely is going to have a higher word count than the last prose based one. The day started with Light Bulbs - moved on to writing this and I really want to pull it out fast given the Christmas refs in it - then I moved on to page 163. That false feeling on lazy comes from I should be well done with it's rough lines by now. ... In advance I thought the page would be easy. With the main note to panel one, it's very odd to convey what is taking place. I had to do in best description a "twirl of events all happening at once". The story being worked on in prose takes the oddest stab shots to future happenings acting as a prequel. I don't know how much of the fine details get caught in this work when others are reading, taking them in. Do you want a heads up on connections to already existing notes this ties with?

If you'd like. If you want it to be a surprise, I'm good with that, too.

Ok, I will say think of the couple things which explain to later origin slightly better. What inspired an incident involving what became MAD and a technology idea implemented.

I haven't a clue if anyone cares for this info. I finally decided on a name this morning.
"The B-Side Tracks"
The name makes sense on multiple levels. I should be done writing it in the next few days.

I should be done working on page 163 today. .... When B-Side is released, for once I'm thinking of writing author notes since the story nicks into places of the AU outside what it's acting as a follow up to. How do you do italic fonts in FF.net? I've been in the habit of either copy & paste or uploading the richtext file. Do I format from within the richtext before upload? I'm sorry if this sounds like a silly question. Your way of presenting extra information seems like a good idea for the case of this one.

Finished it today! Ah, to a point ... Proof checking is still needed and some of that has been done already. Technically the story in a sense was finished two days ago. Why this announcement is coming now is I had to go back to the beginning of the story to flesh out it's details to making it prose from outline. Does anyone know of a good replacement program to FreeSpell minus downloading full word processing software? I used that for nearly ten years, that is until the current Windows OS came out, eliminating DOS support which the software used. Right now I'm using a site named Word Counter, but it's just not the same. ... No one say use DOS Box to try and run FreeSpell. FreeSpell when up ran as a background program that would come up by hotkey command. DOS Box doesn't support that idea.

This took months to have happen ( just getting to the audio book ). Today I got conformation for having a narrator for this story in audio book form. In Comic Fury her name is "SunnySideUpSmile". I listened to an audition she gave for the part. Quite impressive and my only beef with it was over her microphone creating noise it shouldn't. Shes said she'll try her best to remove that background noise. How she sounded pretty much in audition was pure dramatic reading. Not everyone who takes a shot at my work in audio format makes me smile, and her reading did that.
