Earlier today I was in a long meeting with Jewish Family Services that mainly had me listening to my cell on speaker as I said yes over & over to an insurance company. During that I was just playing around drawing on note pad paper in front of me. Most of these drawings focused on just creating visual concepts of Copter's version of Brain. Off to the side the symbols for HAPPY, JOY, MAD, and RAGE which barely are shown on the side of the paper here. The caseworker got impressed even through she didn't quite know where the drawing ideas were coming from. Why I was drawing the RI Brain came from two different places. One, I feel bad for tackling drawing the mutt, prior to the whole Chimera bit coming up in finding out he's part bear in the RI version. Two, just a fun side project I've been entertaining thought on, making emotes from everyone's versions ( forum member's ) but ones recognized easily to which they belong. I don't know when if that will ever happen. If you guys don't want me to take a stab at it, tell me so I won't draw up one of your characters. ... I hope you don't mind these little sketches Copter. I edited out part of the page that would have shown medical notes because of the meeting that was taking place.

I don't mind at all! I think they look great!
I hope you don't mind me expanding on why I chose what I did for his Chimera parts. Brain is a Canis militus, or soldier dog. These are not a specific blend of animal, but all Chimera who are primarily dog-like, usually for the purpose of either attack or guard. As a puppy (and through the classic years) Brain looked entirely like a dog, with his bear traits only manifesting in odd-shapes paws and the ability to stand somewhat straight. Once he and Gadget were captured, however, there was further experimentation that caused the bear side to become more apparent. That's why he's ridiculously big for a dog, though at the same time ridiculously small for a bear,
Also, a little detail I thought I'd add, considering the current chapter is why he's not a ravenous beast like the rat/chimp hybrids are. To explain that, I dip a bit into the book Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH. In this universe, that book still happened, but after the rats escaped, the scientists who developed the formula that made the rats intelligent were laughed out of academia. Out of desperation, they sold the formula to MAD. MAD then gave the serum to all Chimera who were to act as personal bodyguards. As a result, personal Chimera (Brain, MADcat, or any of the lieutenants' Chimera) have borderline human intelligence, while most Chimera behave either like normal animals or rabid monsters.
Great job again, and I don't mind your drawings at all. Feel free to try others, if you'd like.

I think they look great Cat! I'd be curious to see what you have in store for others! Thank you too! It will happen in time, I know there is currently a backlog of normal emotes I have to encode in.
