I still haven't read it yet but I'm kind of interested I remember that you mentioned that you'd like to do an adaptation of the Nutcracker story on a IG universe.

I was smiling through reading almost the whole thing. Love the reinvention you're presenting.

Before the note the kids were in the hologram chamber, I really thought they were in the middle of a coming assignment in normal RI. Um, aside from Inspector Prince will any other fan characters be appearing in this story?

There will also be a mention of some (non OC) characters we have yet to meet.

This is a revised version of what I was going to say. I'm not a fan of the classic Nutcracker Suite story. This I like better. Ok, people can scold me now for my opinion ( "Bad geek! Go to your room!" ). Maybe that holds because of when I saw the performance, which was ages ago. I Just a little older than the kiddies Rheeci is reading to. ... Maybe I should try and check YouTube to watch the original?

I found it, ironically, a better action movie than the original ballet.

There are many versions of the Nutcracker that I can suggest you: the NonDisney movie "The Nutcracker Prince" and one Russian animation one which unfortunately can't remember the name (if I find it, which I hope it's still in my youtube favorites, I'll share with you . I just don't recommend the Good Times version and another movie called "Nutcracker and the King of Mices" (I think that's the title's name), mostly because the animation of those versions are nightmarely horrible. The Barbie one is also ok. I never read the original version, unfortunately, but since I saw many adaptations of it I kind of have an idea how the story looks like.

Oh, Wolf and I watched the Goodtimes version for a laugh. It was hilarious. Of course that brought up the idea of Claw stealing candy and dresses...

I don't know which version I watched but I'm positive it was a ballet version. ... The best I can do is say I watched it in either '88 or '89 on I'm betting UNC-TV ( North Carolina PBS ).

OH GOD Well I won't judge you if you find the Good Times version funny. I personally can't stand the animation. The first time I saw that version was when I was taking the 5th-9th grade at school, and in our music lessons we were talking about Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker music, and my best friend had that version VHS, and when I saw the cover I recognized it by remembering a comercial from my Turma da Monica magazine comics, but when I turned to the backside of the cover I was terrified with the represented screenshots of the film, especially the character designs of the Nutcracker with that huge teeth mouth and the Mouse King with 7 heads (I think that in the original story the Mouse King has more than 1 head, not only by watching this version but also the Russian animated version I mentioned where he has 3 heads), not to mention that Clara's design is also terrifying, she kind of reminds me the Burbank Film's character design of Alice *shivers*, and when I saw the movie during the class I got terrified, never thought for all the Good Times animated movies I saw that one was the one for me who made decide to never watch any movie from that production ever again (well... except Rudolf, the Red Nose Reindeer ), and worst of all, after my dinner I vomited all of it by remembering the movie animation. Yeah, kind of stupid but it's something I can't help because of my trauma. Not to mention that the Good Times version, although it tries to respect the original story, it feels like it's more of an rip off of the Nutcracker Prince, the NonDisney version which I also mentioned. But I do sort of remember that the Good Times version had at least a decent argument. Not good but decent.
