Hi everyone, I don't normally do this but since we is a small group, I would like to share on what's going on my neck of the woods.
I'm so sorry about my absents for the past few months, but this summer season really kicked my butt this year with working a lot of double shifts and coming home where I'm very sore where I have a hard time moving around. I'm not sure if anybody here knows on here, but I'm a housekeeper at a local motor Inn which I take care about 20 rooms with kitchens a day (and I'm also a night maid) and I work seasonal which is 6 to 8 months in a year, so Labor Day was our big day until everything slows down here in South New Jersey.
As for personal things going on, I'm trying my best to beat this depression that I've been struggling for years and every time fall comes around is when I get hit the hardest because I'm stuck in a house all the time. meanwhile long story short, I plan to try to look for a part time job again just to keep my mind busy and distracted from those gloomy feelings.... last winter was the hardest for me only because I lost my father and 2 cats the same year... meanwhile, I don't want to go though that rut again this year, so I'm hoping for the best once when October comes around.
Anyways, on the bright side, all summer long I've been collecting a lot of IG stuff here and there, and what ever is available to get my hands on. here is a bit of a sneak peak on what is going to be scanned this coming up fall and winter since I may have a lot of free time on my hands.

For beating depression, what about visiting a museum? I know there's a nice art one in Wilmington. As for your collecting, it looks like you've had a lot of luck in that department. I will be getting to viewing your latest contributions soon.

I will be getting to viewing your latest contributions soon. I would love to go to one since it's been over 15 years since I've been to one, but sadly the majority of them are too far away from me and most of them around here are for the summer season. maybe one day. Envious of your collection! But in a good way! thank you ladies. I'm excited to be scanning and translating the 3 hard back books, I love finding IG books with new adventures with them. I'm hoping they made more somewhere in this world.

Sorry about what you're passing. Depression can really suck bad. When I'm with it I mostly try to take some time for me before getting motivation to work again or I just talk with someone who I really trust about it, sometimes it helps and a good hug is all I need. I know people tend with their depressions in different ways but I hope these can help with yours. As for what you've been collecting… well… here's my feelings. AAAAAAAAAH!!! I JUST WANT TO STEAL THEM! Eheh, nah, just kidding! XD Can't wait for you to share all that marvelous stuff! But take your time.

Welp, it's been another long month on my end and I'm so happy that it's finally October! My most favorite month of the year! I'm counting down the days until my lay off into unemployment in 2 and a half weeks, so I'm able to stop by as often.
One thing I do need to do before next month is to get a new desktop computer, I have an very old laptop with Windows 7 that my younger sister refurbished for me 5 years ago and it's about to go... the video card is going on it and it shuts down a lot on me lately when ever I multitask because it overheats, so I'm always struggling on saving my unfinished work into notepad documents. And dummy me, I should've done this months ago, but of course I'm very bad of doing stuff like this on the last minute. lol!
Meanwhile, I have saved a bit for it and have other desktops in mind on what I need, but one thing that I'm nervous about is my 20 year old imaging editing program might not work with the latest processor. however, my younger sister does have faster processors with Widows 10 and it works perfectly fine. So, I'm praying it will work for me once when I get one picked out.
well, wish me luck! I hope everybody here is excited about October as much as I am.

That sounds like a memory issue conflicting with the software it should be able to run but now can't. Wish I could give advice on a desktop to buy but mine is a custom one built by a friend who is no longer around (RIP). I wish you luck! Is there a Bestbuy near you?

Thank you, I almost had a heart attack earlier because windows decided to update without me knowing and I had problems loading it back in and after restarting it a few times, it finally worked... so the rest of tonight I'll be loading copying my files into my flash drives since I'm afraid to loose everything. The nearest Best Buy is in Vineland, NJ which is about 45 minutes away from me. I'm planning on buying from them through their website since they seem to have good deals.

Hi everyone, it's been awhile. Well I have great news, I finally got my hands on another spainish IG book series. I have all 6 and I'm going to start working on this project very soon! So keep on a look out. As for updates about myself, I'm finally finished work for the next 6 months, my last day was the 1st of this month. Sadly I had to wait 2 and a half weeks for unemployment to file, so me buying another computer was delayed since my bills were over due. *sigh* but at least my laptop is still working, but it's still on its last legs. Anyways, I hope everyone here is doing okay.

Hi everyone, it's been awhile since I've last updated this post. just to let you guys know that I haven't forgotten about scanning more material from my collection and hopefully I'll be posting the french chapter book "here comes Inspector Gadget" very soon. sadly since all of this chaos going on in the world, I might have to hold off on getting the rest of the book collection from France. so in the meantime, I'll just scan for what I have.
As for my personal life, this past winter has been a little bit of ups and a lot of downs. like I mentioned before on my first post, I'm still healing from a death of a loved one which is not easy and it's still going to take some little more time since it's going on 2 years now. I also try to keep myself busy in the long run by little projects here and there in real life just to keep myself occupied since not working can make depression worse. I'm also spending a lot of time on DA doing a lot of research on photography since I want to be going back into it again. however, some days I'm up and about and some days I just lay there not wanting to move. (but again, I believe we all can be like that too sometimes.) I am also having a bit of family problems as well, but I cannot put into detail online but all I can do is pray that everything will be ok in the near future.
Meanwhile, Since the Coronavirus snuck into my state and rest of the country, I won't be going back to work until sometime in mid April or until further notice, which I will have a lot of free time then, but I do hope that all of this crisis will end soon so I'll be back into my working routine.
As for everyone on here in the IG community, I hope you guys stay safe. <3
