Since it's been close to a month since we've been in quarantine, Sadly my state has been hit hard with the COVID-19 virus since we are right next to New York and the virus still moving down to my area since I'm all the way at the tip of south New Jersey. All of the beaches, boardwalks, small business, seasonal motels and parks are closed along with bars and some dine in restaurants. (only take out restaurants are open) and also, I do want to add that all of the box stores like Walmart, Lowes and other grocery stores only allow certain amount of people and they don't take them in without a face mask. which is understandable...
Well, from all the craziness out there, I'm actually making it out pretty good. I'm actually enjoying the nice spring air while chilling with my cup of morning coffee in my pajamas out in my back yard without worrying and rushing to go anywhere. At this time of year I usually go back to work, but my "back to work" date has been pushed back twice, and now it's sometime in mid May until farther notice. Meanwhile both my mom and I are very fortunate that we were on unemployment since November and it's been extended. Meanwhile, I only go out when I need to which is a very rare thing for me to do anyway, I also have a handcrafted face mask that my sister's best friend's aunt made for my family and I keep it in my purse just in case. Sadly all the facemasks are sold out in my area, but I'm very thankful to have this one handy. here is a pic of my handcrafted mask... she did a wonderful job and it fits comfortably on my face. So, I'm just laying back and chilling in my house with the family and cats. I do keep up with the updates only in a local newspaper, but I'm more into keeping up with family and friends in this isolation.
I'm just wondering how everybody has been doing while being in quarantine? I hope everybody is doing well.

In my part let's just say that my depression and anxiety haven't been helping at all.
But asides of that I'm fine. I started to continue having Japanese class over chat reunions, which at first it was not planned until the teacher changed her mind and that almost screwed me because at the time I was going to my sister to the other house to pass the quarantine with my family I didn't brought my Japanese notebook, but luckily my brother-in-law who didn't come with us due to his work was able to get it and scan on his computer, sending it to me which was a real life saver.
I also have been finishing working on my prints, right now I'm finishing doing a card game based on the table minigames from Super Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros DS. I'm also going to start doing the six characters fanart challenge, it started to be a thing on Instagram, already picked 5 characters that were suggested to me, only one left, searching for references. But before starting with this for real I want to see if I get some time to work on the IG screenshot redraw challenge, still need to decide which shot I'm going to pick.

I'm glad that you are doing fine, that's very cool that you are taking a Japanese class over chat. are you enjoying it?
I have seen the six characters fanart challenge on DA and have some in my group, they seem to be a fun little project to do for artist. and as for the screenshot redraw, if you want, you can use any of my screenshots in the cute screenshot thread.

Sure am! The only down side was at first, before the COVID-19 situation was going to get worst, our teacher said she wouldn't do the rest of the lessons over chat due to the fact that some of my colleagues are busy with their jobs, but only later she decided to give it a try which was out of my surprise because since she said it wasn't worth it I didn't brought my notebook of everything we learned during our normal classes, that was the only downside but luckily like I mentioned before my borther-in-law was able to get my notebook and scan the appointments I needed. Thanks, I'm aware of that!

That is very good to hear that they are continuing on with the classes online, glad you are enjoying it. that's what they are doing with the public schools here since the lockdown, all of the kids are given class assignments to do online which they call it "homeschooling". kinda funny because growing up I was homeschooled too, but this was before the internet. lol! but at least the kids have education since we still don't know when everything will re-open again.

I hate being indoors so much. I got Disney plus, video games, movies and books to keep busy.
my family and I are doing good.

It's the same here in Portugal.
