A thought has been bothering me for for a while.
Gadget's limbs are clearly not organic, yet when we see him sleeveless, he has skin. How do you think that works?

This thought doesn't work to canon, but didn't you once tell me someone had an explanation in a fan fic. you'd encountered? I know I've touched on this too, but that explanation doesn't work here.

That is a good question. If any one has any theories I would like to hear them.

I will read that in a bit. Sounds like an interesting thing to read.

Welcome. I still find it wild that when I came up with the BS answer used in my writing, I found real science backing about 35 to 40 percent of it ( which got written in ). Tonight I knew with a little search I'd likely find some more real science to help with the question.

I wonder if he feels the sun more since his skin is not organic. if he can have poison ivy "rashes" (in the episode "greenfinger") you would've think he might've get sunburn too?

I think he just likes tank tops and is imagining the tan. Lol Though! Supports the different types of skin theory. He seemed to only crash up on his face. If it is silicone based based, it wouldn't rash up or tan. However if it is like based on skin grafting maybe even combined with another substance; like collagen and his own stimcells. That could in theory; make synthetic skin that feels and acts like normal skin.

Professor Von Slickstein must've made a whole loads of "experiments" and mixing up between organic and artificial organs for Gadget including skin. I guess Gadget was the "guinea pig" just to see if it was a success.
