Ok, I have a question for everyone here which I've thinking about for some time.
Yesterday I received an IG french Comic Album which was illustrated from the episode "Don't Hold Your Breath" which has the scene when Gadget cuts himself on a lobster claw and draws a bit of blood inside his glove.
I also screenshot the same scene from my DVD just to compare them.
The illustration in the comic seems to add the same amount of blood and the same color, Red. but at the same time I often wonder if it is blood or a mixture of something else that was added into the mix because of his bionic systems.
However A few months months ago I came across this post on Tumblr that makes a little sense about Gadgets special type of "fluids" including his blood.
"How does inspector gadget refill his gear like when he uses oil does he have to go to an oil station and refill? Where does he put that still to fill it? In his mouth? Or his butt?"
"He would probably have a port somewhere on his body to have it refilled manually, though this would be inefficient over time, especially given how rough his work can be. If he were to lose too much oil, just as a regualr person loses too much blood, he could potentially be out of comission for some time. I would imagine that the scientists who created him would find a new type of fluid that works similarly to oil but can be reproduced and filtered automatically by his body. And in the case of whether or not he still has blood this fluid would either have to be able to coexist, be dirverted from his organic parts completely, or simply just replace it all together and function as both oil and blood."

"Whoa hey thanks my dude I didn’t actually think anyone would respond these were just 3AM drunk ramblings while watching the movie but you are probably very right!!!!"
And I also came across this beautiful Artwork "Is This Still Real" by MWaters with a very well written 'Headcanon' about Gadget's organs and existing bodily systems. (I didn't want to add the text on here since it belongs to the artist. )

I found interestingly funny but disturbing at the same time how the comic just exaggerated on putting to much blood coming out over Gadget's finger since in the animation is just a red blushed dot like it feels it was just pinched and not cut. Not to mention they forgot to had color on Brain. As for this theory I don't have a lot to say since this is a subject that never came to bother me as a kid and not even in the nowadays, but I won't lie that it is an interesting subject so it's no wonder most of you have an interest on knowing if Gadget's body is still filled with blood or if it was changed by oil after his accident. Personally I think if he still can feel pain when getting hurt then I'm probably sure he still has blood on him, unless Slickstein inserted a special oil that makes it has the same effect as blood, but then again I suck at science.

True! I always did find this subject fascinating! When I first saw the episode 20 years ago, I was questioning about it since the animation used a bit of red. but it looks more like small "prick" with a small amount of blood soaking his gloved thumb. however, the comic did added a bit too much, but it did bring it to my attention.
I do have my own theory about it, he would still have blood just for his organic organs and since he can still feel pain, however he dose have other "artificial" fluids could be separated just for his gadgets and other artificial organs they had to replace... but again, that's my theory. Unless somebody else out there has a better one.

I first thought of a couple things with this, but one more than the other. In EuroGadget, SandySchreiber makes mention of his blood has been replaced by a synthetic. ( Yes, that fan fic. was going off the live action movie-verse but I think this note could still refer to animated Gadget. )

As for "EuroGadget" where can I read the fanfic? I don't think I ever came across it.

It's on DA and it came out quite a while ago. link Way back I extended an invitation to Mrs. Schreiber to join this forum. She accepted .. my guess is she's busy with a lot of offline matters. Not speaking of his blood at all, I have an explanation which covers different aspects of Gadget's physiology at least in the Iron and Steel-verse. Since that is not exactly related to topic, if you want I could provide you with a link in PM?

Sure, I'm interested! I love reading reading all different types of ideas and headcanons about Gadget's physiology, including ones that are AU.
