After a year and a half looking, I finally found Gadget! I also found Penny about year ago and now I'm so happy that I finally own all 3 of the original plushies from Kamar. He is SO Adareble! and a pretty big plush doll... I wish I had him when I was a kid, I would cuddle with him all the time. lol!
While I was searching for Gadget, I learned that the "rubber like" material that the designers used for his coat, hat, gloves and shoes didn't last very long in time and they will peel off and shed. After going though a few other listings that were in very poor shape (including one with tags), I finally found the one in decent shape; but he is also pre-owned with the display strings cut off but who ever had him last took very good care of him all of these years. Meanwhile the seller was very, nice and gave me a hand written note in English on how to display him since he is extremely fragile. Since I really don't have a place to display him with no sunlight, I put all 3 on one of my Vera Bradley décor plates on my top corner shelf so the shedding of the material won't go anywhere else.... even when I first opened the box that stuff went everywhere and after handling him, I had it all over my hands and under my finger nails. *sigh* I honestly just wish I had the sewing skills where I can scrape the stuff off and give him better fabric to replace. I actually have seen a couple listings of this plush where the seller did scrape it all off and it's it's like a light beige underneath. but now, I'm just going to let it be and hopefully one day he'll be under glass with Penny and Brain.
Sadly I had to untie his sash because his collar and his blue tie were put on backwards and his coat was put on very tight where I had no choice but to disturb the sash... at least it didn't fall apart way too much and I did an ok job re tying it. lol!
I also want to share another item I found early this year, a wind up Watch from Bradley. I have never heard of this brand of watches, but after searching, they were poplar from their Disney watches. I haven't taken out of it's box yet or even wind it up. I'm kinda afraid to because of it's age, But this is very cool... another IG merchandise I never thought would exist.

This isn't apparent since I don't post daily, but I do poke my head in daily to check on the place. Butterfly noticed you first and I agree with her, that is an amazing collection you have, I'm envious. Don't be shy about posting in the future. You saying you've been lurking around here tells me I'm sure you know how this forum is.

You saying you've been lurking around here tells me I'm sure you know how this forum is. Thank you! My first visit here was sometime in November or December 2020 while browsing random stuff on my iPad while watching football. One of the random things I searched for was Inspector Gadget related (I don't remember exactly what it was at this point) and one of the search results was a thread on this forum. So I browsed and read for a while. Then I came back, visited several times after that and thought it'd be cool to post my collection up here at some point. Yesterday I had gotten my chores done and the wife was out for the evening so I took the opportunity. It's in my nature to fade into the background after I've posted a few times, but I will try to resist that tendency.

Welcome, and I hope you resist that tendency too. It happens with a lot of people. * Gives warm handshake to Madhawk. *

Wow, you all have really good collections! Mine is mostly pretty basic. The only major thing I have which I don't think I've seen elsewhere here is the Brain Beanie Baby-esque doll which was released by Disney to tie in with the 1999 film, but uses the classic design. I'd wanted it for a few years, it's usually pretty expensive but I lucked out bidding on one last year. Aside from that I have: . Inspector Gadget Volume 1+ Volume 2 (Fox Kids Best Sellers UK Region 2 DVDs) . Gadget and the Gadgetinis Volume 1 (Fox Kids Best Sellers UK Region 2 DVD) . Inspector Gadget Saves Christmas (DIC Animation Station US Region 1 DVD) . Inspector Gadget's Last Case (Prism UK Region 2 DVD) . Inspector Gadget 1&2 Duopack (Disney UK Region 2 DVD Set) . Inspector Gadget: Gadget's Crazy Maze (Playstation PAL) . Inspector Gadget Advance Mission (Game Boy Advance) . Inspector Gadget: Mad Robots Invasion (Playstation 2 PAL) . Gadget and the Gadgetinis (Playstation 2 PAL) . Inspector Gadget Annual 1986 Had at some point but no longer have: . One of the Burger King toys from the early 90s, I think the scuba diving one, I do remember thinking it didn't exactly look right . Inspector Gadget Saves Christmas UK PAL VHS . Inspector Gadget 3 Exciting Adventures; got this for my 10th birthday. UK PAL VHS with Gadget's Roma, Mad in the Moon and Gadget Meets the Clan, but the cover image was from Did You Myth Me! I think I also briefly had another similar VHS later. Believe it or not I never got the full set of episodes on DVD. Always planned to but as the full sets were never released in the UK it was never the easiest thing to get. As all the episodes are on YouTube, it didn't seem like a priority once I got a Smart TV that could play YouTube videos.

You bringing up PAL format makes me wish not for the first time I had a region free player.
When on vacation years back in Cardiff, I was on the lookout in a media store for IG not to be found in the US. ... The quest turned up nothing. However I did learn how to get a US computer to recognize region 2 DVD format once getting back home.

That's an awesome collection you have there, riffraff! I remember when that Brain "beanie baby" first came out back in the fall of 99, a friend of mine that used to live across the street from me used to collect them and he had a huge catalog with the list of them coming out and I remember Brain, Gadget and Claw were on the list but sadly they never made Penny. You have a great find! I've never heard of the PAL format, may I ask what kind of media is it?
