Thank you PAL is the format of video games which have been region locked for consoles in Europe (and sometimes other parts of the world). It's roughly the equivalent to games as Region 2 is for DVDs/Blu-Rays, and prior to that VHS tapes for Europe also used to be referred to as PAL. Thankfully, I believe region-locking for video games is generally going away, not sure myself as I don't own any of the current consoles but that is my understanding.

I actually do part of Region 2 since I'm from Portugal And yeah, what you said is indeed true, even when I hacked my Wii thanks to my brother-in-law he said that to get the iso files of the game it had to be on PAL format although later I got some isos with other formats and never had problems, but I still stick at finding the PAL formats just for safety to not damaging my consol. And yes, newer consoles can now play other region games, however I don't know how to do it myself. And if you hack a console, although it's preferable to get the roms with the format that matches with your region you still can get games on other format.

Interesting, thank you. Most recent console I have is a WiiU, which is region locked, but I do have a PS3 and that is Region free. I'm not in a hurry to get anything more recent as I mostly like older games from the 80s/90s/early 00s. I would like to catch up on the more recent games from series I like one day such as Mario, Kirby etc but at the moment I feel I have enough of a collection and would rather add to it with the odd second hand purchase rather than £40-50+ games.
As for the IG games, of the ones I had I thought they were all quite fun if not hugely memorable. I guess I liked the GBA game the most as you could alternate between Gadget, Brain and Penny so it's a little more like the show. I'd like to play the SNES and DOS games one day. I don't think the SNES Game was actually released outside of the US, although I could be wrong.

I don't think the SNES Game was actually released outside of the US, although I could be wrong. I know what you mean. Although I've been liking palying modern games more I still prefer old games, not only for nostalgic reasons but because they are good and still fun to play. And yeah, games in the nowadays are getting too expensive. Oh, I just remembered and forgot to mention that when it came to DVDs while some DVD palyers were region locked there were still some other DVD palyers that could read every region DVD. For example a friend of mine used to buy some DVDs of concerts of her favourite japanese singer Ayumi Hamazaki that really came from Japan, in fact she was the one who told me about this info. Still, when I wanted to get a copy of DVDs of some movies and series that didn't get a DVD release in Portugal I had to check the region number to make sure they matched with mine. The SNES game is actually pretty good. Hard but pretty good. It's like a third season of the series that we never got in terms of the story it presents. The DOS I never tried out and my PC is not exactly comptable to play games from that system unless I find an emulator or if I get a program that can read the oldest versions of Windows, but I saw some videos of the game and it seems kind of fun. I also like the GBA game for the same reason as yours. And I also love the PS1 game too, I always loved puzzle games and Crazy Maze is no exception. The PS2 was alright though but it was also kind of glitchy. I only didn't appreciate the GBC game, the music is too noisy and it becomes kind of annoying time to time and the gameplay seems a little bit broken, but the mechanic is kind of the same as the GBA game.

Yeah I personally went out of my way to get a Blu-Ray player that plays DVDs and Blu-Rays from other regions, I used to do the same with DVD players and I think even my last VCR could play US/NTSC Format VHS tapes. It's good to know you can play that stuff if you find it.
I'd forgotten there was a Game Boy Colour game, I'd like that too even if it's not that great.

Another problem with the GBC game is that when you have to change to Penny and Brain on certain points of the game and when they're near an enemy they lose their health when they're attacked way too fast than Gadget.

Hi, I have intentions of doing that. But not right now. I've been trying to make contact with various artists from the Gadgetinis production (mainly storyboard artists) to see if more of these survived in their posession. I've contacted about 5 people! So far only one replied, saying he would have been very happy to send me his boxes of Gadgetinis storyboards, but that unfortunately when he moved to another house he threw them in the trash. I would like to wait and see if anyone else replies. I've also written to WildBrain asking if they still hold anything from that production art. And if they have any plans on releasing the series somewhere on some paid streaming platform or even their IG WildBrain official YouTube channel, where they have the 80s and 2015s series uploaded in full...but not the 2003 Gadgetinis series. Lets wait and see if anyone replies. About the other stuff I didnt post, it is because they are at my parents house and I dont have them with me. but i' ll show it when I get the chance.

The comic books I got from a known 2nd hand online market, ( Vinted). There are all sorts of IG related stuff there. And you can often find TRUE bargains , but you can also find people thinking they are selling the Mona Lisa. But In all honesty, If I told you how little I paid for Dr Claw and MadCat figures that came from Italy and the Gadgetmobile from Spain...you wouldn't believe it. It's really a matter of being on the watchout and being patient. And the platform works for all European Union, so you find stuff from Spain, France, Belgium and Italy. All the countries where IG was a thing back in the day.

Oh nice, you have the Planeta Junior DVD as well For what I know those ones also have the portuguese dub I don't know if you're able to do so but is it possible for you to do a rip of that DVD? I'm kind of curious to see if the dub is the same from the one that passed on the portuguese channel (SiC) or if it's different I don't know if there were more DVDs of Planeta Junior and if the dub is the same from the television one but it would be awesome to get them, since there were some episodes that didn't passed at the time the serie came back on the portuguese channels Canal Panda and SiC K

The Portuguese version is the same as Sic, if I remember correctly. And I should also add, that the Planeta Junior IG DVD n1 is selling right now on Vinted at a very low price. (Edit) Oh! I also just found the Planeta Junior 5 Dvd Box is available at wallapop (spanish 2nd hand online market, similar to vinted) with the portuguese (sic) dub. Its about 25 episodes. (Even though they announce it as the complete series...)
