I've been on and off a lot lately with both work stuff and vacations, so I figured I'd post one of these 'what's going on with me' type threads. I mean, I'm not important enough for people to really care all that much, but I figure some people do follow and all that haha.
So, without further ado...

HUGE apologies that I've not been around as much. I've been on vacation (FINALLY) and I wanted to just switch off and enjoy my time away.
The first was to Rhodes in Greece which was stupendous. The second was actually more of an extended family meet up. My mother-in-law hosts an annual BBQ in July, but since we were away during that month she decided to move it to August. We spent the week there and 6 of the 7 days was basically spent wrestling with 5 kids between the ages of 7 and 2 on and off throught the day. MANY bruises were gained haha.
I'll try and get on, but I'll soon have some work stuff coming up (Script reviews and a premiere) and ballet classes each Monday as of September, but besides that I should get some free time to bother y'all. xD

First off I do care . When any of us write these blog-like entries I think it creates better understanding to one another's life events. Also I consider those here who got the chance to back in the day to post to inspector-gadget.net, something of veterans to the fan community and as so hold a unique status for giving their opinions - etc. . Second, it sounds like you've been busy in a good way and I feel a little envious to that. Basically two vacations in a row. Never been to Greece before ... please share pictures of that . Also my family hasn't had a reunion since the mid-90's unless you count funerals and one wedding. Third GM I do plan to get to the rest of the parts of that story you posted. It's just with what happened on June 18th and the mess that existed even before that. Well I have this driving urge to draw as many pages as I can to create a giant buffer for ComicFury postings. Others' postings normally get viewing or reading during breaks. In the case of your writing, finding that spare moment to load the work into Text-A-Loud, before continuing my work. Likely will be listening to parts 3 & 4 this afternoon.

I'm glad you had fun on your vacations. Hopefully you are relaxed afterwards. that's awesome that you do ballet! If you dont mind me asking, how long have you been dancing? I know I haven't posted that much lately too, but it's almost the end of the summer season where I'm extremely busy with work. Maybe I'll do an update sometime, but I dont really have much to say. Lol.

Aww. <3 ;3;
I guess the second doesn't really count as a vacation, but it was a nice break away form the usual norm and it was nice to hang with extended family. (Despite the bruises and kid slobber haha.)
The one to Greece, though, was super relaxing and great. Though it went very fast haha.
As for the fic, we are just gald that it's being enjoyed. ^^ It's not often we get an audience for our RP conversion fics, so it's great to hear someone is taking the time to read/listen to them.

I've danced since I was around 10 in various forms. East and West Coast Hip-Hop, Candy Hip-Hop, Californian Jazz, etc... Ballet I had an interest in when I was much younger though, but never actually did anything with it outside of doing it at home with DIY guides haha. It was only recently that I discovered an adult class in my town.

Had my 3rd ever blood donation session yesterday. I wish I had started sooner to be honest, but I guess spending 14 years in a religion which condemns it makes it difficult haha.
I have also struggled with my weight for the majority of my life. I was 6 to 6 and a half stone (84-91 lbs) for a huge percentage of my teens and 20s, so it meant I was unable to donate. Then, to make matters worse, I only have 1 single vein that's usable and even that is hard to get. I've been turned away a couple of times because of it.
They usually take a bit more than usual from me, as I'm B negative and they are always hounding me to donate. Stocks are incredibly low for it. Yesterday was no different. The bag was bleeping saying it was done, but it was a good 5 minutes extra before they unhooked me. The bag was bursting at the seams. I was very much appreciative of the orange Club bar after that, I can tell you haha.
I feel ropey today though. I had a bad nights sleep and I have ballet later which means I'll be wrecked by tonight. My arm is also bruised, as they caught a valve and had to adjust the needle, but I'm sure a bit of light movement and witch-hazel will fix it right up again in no time. Might have to break the comfrey leaves out and make an infusion again...
So yeah, apologies if I'm quiet. It's a bit weird here.

First off no apologies needed, offline life is more important then online life. How is your arm feeling? Many years back a clinic messed up royally with my right arm causing serve bruising because they jabbed the needle in wrong before getting as much blood as they felt they needed. How can witch-hazel help?

Thanks guys.
Yeah, I get excited when I get in that chair and they get it right. My blood usually end up at a children's hospital, which is always a good feeling to know it's helping. My arm has a teeny bruise now, but it's good. Not as bad as I thought.
As for witch-hazel, it helps bring out bruising. It's great for a lot of things. Bruises, sprains, even as a toner and cleanser. It's an old family staple on the cabinet.

UGH, apologies that I've been away again. I've been really struggling with my darn anxiety. It usually happens around this time of the year. Next to no sunlight really saps my vit D and the like.
I invested in a SAD lamp, but that can only do so much. Last month I had a few days when I couldn't even get myself out of bed. The thought of it made me feel urpy. I wanted to join in with GoGadgetGo's Gadget art competition and I couldn't even do that... :/
Still... The only way is up, right? Not long until Feb. At least then I start to pick up.
Why can't we hibernate?

I get them once while for the past 4 years, but I always get them at night and when I try to fall asleep which is really strange... anyways, I know they have vitamin D supplements for people who need it, I'm planning on trying them out myself since it's that time with less daylight. Also, I've never heard of a sad light, how bright are they? I hope everything goes well with you and you are not alone. *hugs*

So, the dreaded November SAD has arrived. I've been struggling lately with mood, but there's not much to be done about it besides take my meds. We're on yet another lockdown here, so it's a case of being stuck indoors except for an hour of exercise outside. That'd be great, if it'd stop raining. Haha. All the movie projects I had lined up have obviously been put on hold for the forseeable furture too, so there goes that income.

My brain for a second wanted to take your use of the word sad in caps, and wonder what the acronym was, sorry. ( You might get that later. ) Personally the thought to lockdowns don't bother me. Yes, I am aware the United States is filled with morons about safety measures. But when the only real lockdown happened ... I was already in lockdown when it started. My car was busted. But there wasn't really a strong temptation to drive anywhere. As far rain, how daily is that? I knew in advance of my trip to Wales it was common in the UK. It did happen daily on my vacation. But does that tend to happen at only certain times of the year? I've been curious about this for a while. Where could one view the movies you've been involved with? I'd give them a watch if you were cool with that? ( Feels ashamed for not even knowing titles. )

LOL SAD Agent GM. xD
When I'm not working I tend to be pretty hermit-like, but I think it's the fact I can't get to see family that's becoming a drag. Especially coming up to Jul celebration time.
Where I am it doesn't rain as much as in Wales. But this month it's been nothing but rain and fog and it's getting a bit boring. It's one of those 'it could rain at any time' situations here from October to about May, but it's not very predictable at all.
If I recall, one of the more recent ones was on Netflix last I knew. Outlawed. I'm still waiting on the last one I was involved with to be officially released, but I know that one is around. It's for mature audiences though, so be warned. (Violence, blood, swearing, nudity, drugs, etc.) I only had a small part in that, but I was doing it as a favour to the director.
